started vodka today looking does anybody add bightwells MicroBacter7 to there tank?
my tank is 100 net gallons how much MicroBacter7 do i add every day

I do. It tells you on the bottle how much. Just starting out you add more every day after that you change to once a week.

Not sure were people get one drop per 50gal ?

Medium- to High-nutrient Systems: add 5 ml (1 capful) per 25 US-gallons.

Stable, Low-nutrient Systems: add 5 ml (1 capful) of MicroBacter7 per 50 US-gallons.

That is per the directions on the bottle, but many people dose what they find best to work for the specific application. It usually ends up being much less than the bottle says once the system has passed its initial 2 weeks.

I think if you are using this in conjunction with vodka dosing, you need to start out with small doses and experiment for your individual tank. I dose Biodigest along with vodka and I use less than the dosage on the box. They are used to get a diverse bacteria into your tank instead of just through vodka dosing. So, the bacteria added with Microbacter7 + that from vodka dosing could = overdosing and bacterial bloom. I know biodigest calls for 1 amp/15 days for my system volume of 100gallons. I dose 1 amp per month. I am actually going to try Microbacter7 when I run out of biodigest. Just a thought.

how about reef bio fuel?
i have been dosing mb7 and bio fuel, and what i have notice is my water is crystal clear and my cyano is completely gone...my chaeto doesnt grow anymore though...

I have dosed vodka for about 2.5 years by itself with no issues. A few months ago I started dosing MB7 with my vodka dosing. At first I over did it and corals lightened. I still struggle to keep the balancing act going. I honestly had better luck with the vodka alone but that's just me.

I know brightwells has Biofuel. The combination as I understood it is bacteria + carbon source to feed on. vodka is the carbon source. Biofuel would be the carbon source. Biodigest and Microbacter7 are the bacteria seed colonies. It would work but not be optimal.

The directions on my bottle say 1 drop for every 50 gallons. It is in the low bio load part. I also never did the original seed either. Just adding the 1 drop/50 I started noticing a difference in polyp extension within a few days.

My tank is roughly 100gal net. I dose 3-5 drops MB7/day and 1ml vodka/day. I say 3-5 drops cuz i do it in the morning when its dark and sometimes its 3 sometimes its 5.

I dosed 5ml mixed with 8oz of tank water once a week for the first month. Now i dose 3-4 drops daily. I also dose 2 drops of vodka every morning. I have the 39gal cadlights.
