How much Dry Rock

Yes it will take up some Room but it really won't make that much of a difference if you spread it under and around your rocks the extra around your base rock will help your foundation of the rocks

Sounds good!! i did 75 lbs of dry rock in my 90 gallon. More then enough rock IMO. Plus in that 1-1.5 lbs per gallon, you can always add rock to your sump and keep it out of the DT. Getting all the benefits but none of the clutter
