Hey community,

i have a shortly Question...

I have a light Stock:
Coral Beauty
Adult Marion Female
Young Maroon ( Pair)

Because I have a little hair algae, I want to look at my feeding. I feeded heavy to this day So I have no idea which is a General good amount for this 3 fish.

I feed only frozen food, I think you now this cubes. So I feed 2 times a day, so how mich is enough? 1/4 Cube, half cube per feeding?

Also this fish a like pigs, they eat everthing, and nothing left

A short guideline were very helpful

There is no guideline, some people feed 3-4 times a day, some feed only once every 3 days....

To me your description sounds perfect, especially if they eat it all and nothing left. Personally, I like feeding my fish, I feed them 2-3 times a day.

I don't even consider it as feeding my fish, I feed the tank, everything in the tank needs to eat, including the tiny little micro fauna that we can't even see.

Algae can grow for so many reasons and so many ways to fight it, starving the fish is not a way that I suggest.

Completely agree with this

This is a good assessment. I feed my 32 Gallon twice daily and I’m feeding a tad more than you. But between the fish, flower anemone, corals, Nassirius snails etc. It all goes to good use. My phosphates are a little high (.1) and my nitrates run about 18.

I feed a variety. Pellets once a day then a few hours later 1/2 a cube of frozen. But 2-3x a week i add bug chunks of frozen salmon or huge mysis.

I feed on how my levels in my tank are. If my no3 and po4 are crazy high then i rinse and feed dry food less.
