How much flow for my SW mixing tank?

Hi I'm looking to do daily 5 litre water changes and have got a 50 litre round drum for mixing and storing SW. I would like to know how much flow I need, where to place powerheads and how many powerheads? I currently have 1 Tunze 6020 which is 2500 l/h, thanks.

I just throw an old 900gph pump in the bottom of the barrel and old powerhead near the surface and let them run. Not sure it matters how much flow as long as the water is circulating and moving.

You don't need to have a powerhead in it necessarily unless that's the way you're going I hooked up a pump to mine with some PVC piping which creates enough Flow to

mix the salt water with the tank and then I can also fill my tanks right off of that easy peasy

You see the pipe that runs from the pump up to the top of the holding container and then goes inside of it the water circles through there and create surface agitation plus there's a tube coming out of the bottom that you see there which sucks the water out of the bin and into the pump so it's a constant cycle circle of water and it creates the agitation and mixes the salt up at the same time

as long as water surface is moving it'd be fine, no strong surface agitation needed, especially if you plan to do daily WC. YOur Tunze is more than enough, in fact may be too strong in a 50L drum

Is it okay to put Tunze right near the bottom so salt doesn't build up or should I put it a little higher?

Yes, I like to put my pumps at the bottom of container to mix the settled salt. Also, if I'm doing just small WC, then I don't bother heating the water.
