Depends on your overflow type and pipe size.

Like I said, marineland corner overflow max is 750 gph with 1 1/4 drain pipe and 1 1/2 pipe is to big and won't fit meaning max return at height would be 750 gph. So if the t as no is 150 gallons max would be 5x at 5ft

I’m sure the marineland is a Durso drain so might be able to mod it to a herbie and increase it some with the main stand pipe being at full siphon.

I'll probably be using around 10x once my tanks set up again. I had about 4-5x and although i was successful keeping my detritus suspended, there wasn't enough return back to the sump to filter it all out of the display
