How much light do I need for my 10gal refugium?

I turned a 10 gal tank into a 3 chamber Sump with a refugium. I have a 12 watt grow light for it but my chaeto doesn't seem to be growing. Do I need more light?

I bought a cheap grow light on amazon and it works fine on my sump.

Do you know the wattage of your light? I got mine from Amazon to. It's a little square 12 watt one. Is yours the same?

I heard the above ones are very good but for a full 10 gallon area for a refugium i would use something stronger like

I have the top one. I have 3 chambers in my sump so it only holds probably 3 gal tops

I use these they were cheap and fit perfect over my 2 ft refugium giving relatively equal light to the whole thing. Probably too big for what you describe but recommend something spread out like this rather than a high power bulb emitting from a single spot.
