How much Maxspect Bio Balls do I need???

I will be setting up a 600 litre mixed reef tank. I will have a simple aquascape and a thin layer of sand, but a heavy bio load. For this reason I will be adding bio media and I chose this. Bit, I am not sure how many kilos of these bio spheres I will need. Also will copepods grow and live in these balls? Please let me know, thank you in advance!

You don't need any, but it won't hurt to have some. If you have very little rock, then I would be more concerned. Copepods, assuming you get the right species, will live there.
