....if I'm dropping 4ppms nitrates weekly, how much neonitro should I dose daily in MLS to be stable with no4s?

As post# 3 said, you need to follow what it says on YOUR bottle as I think they've sold different potency formulas.

Bottle I found on the Internet said the following (but not sure if this is same strength as yours so that's the first thing to check):
1 mL NeoNitro will increase nitrate in 1 US gallon by approx 7.5 ppm

EZ Calculation:
Dose(mL) = 0.1261 x TankCapacity(G) x ppmIncrease(ppm)

"IF" that's what your bottle says, I get roughly 13 mL daily dose (to maintain 4 ppm loss per week in your 180 gallons)
*rely on testing to adjust your dose
*however often you test, I recommend do it the next day before your dose
*if you want to increase now, not just maintain, you'd obviously start higher to get to your target level first

You're never going to know unless you have a way to check your levels. There isn't a reliable way to say "dose 10ml daily and you will have a level of 15 Nitrate".

A lot depends on your tank, age, livestock, etc. You'll need a meter like a Hanna or similar.

You'll also want to know what level you want it at.

Makes sense, ty

I would also caution that the demand for nitrate is likely not a fixed value, and the demand at 10 ppm nitrate may be very different (higher) than at 1 ppm nitrate.

Thus, there will be some trial and error adjusting.

Agree 100% on this. This number is in no way a static value. I too dose NeoNitro as my tank is still new and this number has changed from anywhere from 5mL per day down to 1mL. I would recommend bi-weekly testing until the nitrates stabalize

I have a feeling my nitrtaes don't stabilize is because of the pulsing xenias I have. I want to get rid of them.
