I think I've figured out why
I recently added a lemon peel angel and have been feeding nori multiple times per day where I used to add one piece a day.
Since found Randy's paper on Phosphate in foods. Nori high in Phosphate.
So I'll reduce nori to once a day or every other day

The key is to start very slowly, and familiarize yourself with how it affects your system. Test nutrients daily while dosing, and keep the same dose for a week or so. I would only start with about 0.5 mL per 100/G regardless of what people tell you. It may seem like very little, but if you start too aggressively it can have very negative effects. NoPOX is not to be underestimated. It’s very powerful and effective carbon source. Starting low and working your way up is always safer.
