How much Phyto is too much?

Hey everyone I recently started growing my own live Phyto. I make about 2 gallons a week and was curious on how much I can really dose in my tanks. Right now I’m doing about 1 oz per 50 gallons but can I do more?

I think that you can add any reasonable amount of phyto to your system and be just fine, so long as your filtration is adequate. I personally would slowly ramp up the amount you add over the course of a few weeks to months to allow your system to adapt to the extra nutrients.

As with any excess feeding, you would see a sudden algae bloom if you are adding too much too suddenly.
