I have set up my first saltwater tank ever. It is a 90 gallon tank with live rock and live sand. I am adding fish slowly. Introduced the first inhabitants on November 1st... they were 2 Clownfish. After almost 3 weeks with good parameters on the water, on November 21st, I added 1 Coral Beauty Angelfish. For feeding, I am alternating every three days mysis shrimp, brine shrimp and marine s pellets. I feed the fish once daily. The clown fish are eager eaters and devour the food immediately. The angelfish is a slower eater, but it is also rather new to the tank, so perhaps that will change. How much of each type of food should I be feeding them? The guy at the LFS told me 1/2 cube of the frozen shrimp when I feed those foods and about 15 pellets when I feed them the pellets. The Clownfish are still looking for food after they finishing eating everything in sight, and I don't know how much the Angelfish is getting. How much is enough? And how much is too much? Any other feeding suggestions welcome. I am able to feed more than once per day if that recommended.
