How much time a day do you spend on your tank?

I spend about 20-25 minutes per day working on the tank, although I do find it enjoyable! I can see my tank from most places in my apartment so I'm enjoying it most of the time I'm at home.
to much time cleaning it. not enough time enjoying it. lol

30 min on regular day up too 2 hrs on cleaning day !! I love it !!! Best hobby ever honestly my life was missing something I was never intrested in anything now I always have something too do !

Hmmm... I guess I spend about an hour on avg. per day on normal maintenance (including feedings) on our system.
We won't talk about all the hours I lose when I'm in the garage where our remote sump room is located. It's like stepping into a time warp as I can easily lose an entire day without realizing it, LOL!
I am fortunate that I get to enjoy our DT a couple of hours a day. On the other hand, there are times when several days pass before Mike has a chance to sit down and enjoy it.

according to the OP i spend way!!!!! too much time with the tank hehe. does it count when you come down at 6:00 in the morning when the lights are off and look around with a flashlight

So is it me or does ever one examine the rock or plug that frags come on to see what else is growing on it. I like to check the water surface when the pumps are off for a water change to see what all shows up. I seen what looks like jellyfish the last time. Ok so I spend a lot of time with my tank. Lol
Daily probably 30 minutes-1 hour. On maintenance day it's about 1 hour. Sometimes I get that wild hair and start reorganizing corals. Right now I have a chalice area and a acan area on the sand bed which I will be reorganizing because I have a massive plate coral that is pushing up against the glass on one side of my tank. He is getting moved Saturday!

I stare at my rocks, watching things appear and disappear. Month and a half old rock from the gulf, lots of life growing, receding, appearing out of no where! I saw a super tiny snail yesterday that I definately did not put in there. Looked like a little bity cerith! I'd say 2+ hours of watching a day, 5-10 mins of top off time ( moved the auto top off to the new sump, hose is too short to reach the resevior atm) and maybe 10 mins a day checking the quarantine tank (more time watching the fire fish hide in his pvc and peep at me, or swim boldly up to the glass to flick his fin).
5 minutes normally. Now that I upgraded to Radions though everything looks so much better, so I find myself enjoying and looking at the tank much much more often then tinkering with it, which is a nice change. I haven't had that in awhile.

Turbo and i sort of split the time spent on the tank. i dont mind doing water changes but he does the top offs and all the additives. The thing i hate is the corals(frags) always getting knocked over, i spend more time finding areas to put them in than anything else. I think part of the enjoyment might be maintaining the tank.
It is funny when people ask what kind of hobbies is my husband and i into, and when i answer our aquarium, they think its strange lol even when i explain it to them. I guess they dont understand why we like to stare at rocks.
Bob (turbo) there are 2 reasons you get into trouble with the time spent on the tank. 1. because you do it at the wrong time (when the kids need help with homework) and 2. you will do it from the time you come home from work until i say bob i'm sorry but i am going to bed.
Normally when friends ask what bob is doing i dont say working on the fish tank, i say hes playing with the fish again!

+30 min a day cleaning glass, blowing off stuff, topping off, and dosing; +30 min every other day target feeding. On my weekend deep cleaning and maintenance one weekend or changing media & cleaning canister filter with a water change the other = +3-4 hours.
+30 min every 3 days to yell at some fish who's misbehaving, curse at cyano, and freaking out and attempting to kill some new astplacia or aggressive smothering sponge that's decided to pop up somewhere.
+endless moments of bliss staring and wondering at it all....

I spend 2 hours a day looking, cleaning, testing, and playing with the tank... and at least 7-8 minutes a day staring at ur husband(bobby) picture he put up for the live sale.
