How much to dos

I just got the Neptune dos.
I need to understand how much to setup to dos my 2 part per day.

Over a 4 day period here is where my parameters went. How should I set my dos to dose?

Alk
day 1 : 8.1
day 4: 7.7

Calcium
Day 1: 398
Day 4: 386

The tank is about 1.5 years old. I used to dose bionic but I never actually tested parameters. I would just dose 3-4 times a week the recommended amounts.
I have been doing weekly water changes with the Red Sea reef pro salt which has kept the parameters stable. But I got some new corals and alk and calcium are depleting faster and I don’t want to do those water changes with expensive salt.

That's sweet!!

They added Red Sea's product line in there too. Always had to do the math with Red Sea.

You dose to how much water your actuality holding, not your total display size.
Just start off with a lower dose and work your way up.

From what I have learned. I test my new salt mix and aim for that in alk and dose the exact same in Ca.

I was trying to dose two different amounts for ca and alk (as per LFS) and I found out fast that you numbers will be out of whack quick.

Now I am dosing the same (20mls) a day and the number have just fallen into place for me. Ca is always near what I need when I keep alk at 9.
