how much to feed Echidna polyzona (Banded Moray Eel)

Hi there- anyone know how much to feed a barred moray eel (Echidna polyzona)? Research I have done says offer food 2x per week but I’m wondering how much food should be offered. Reason I ask is because I recently got a BME (little guy) and he is eating silversides like a champ. So well in fact I think I am overdoing it. I was so focused on just getting him eating when introduced to my DT that I swung my nitrates sky high! Was offering him silversides 2x per week and offered until he seemed satisfied, but now wondering if I can get away with 1 or 2 silversides per feeding, 2x per week. Thoughts?

Keep him well fed and happy. His tank mates will thank you. Think of how you could improve your filtration. They reach a fairly large size pretty fast and if you are having nitrate problems now that he is still a "little guy" I see issues ahead.
