As title says how much would u sell this for? I would say 100 to 200 heads it's full all the way around besides for a hole where bout 10 heads are missing. Thanks!!

hi,300$ ?? :)

Great colony, the problem is that it's a cheap starter coral. It might be hard to find someone who wants to pay a per polyp price.
I not looking for a per polyp Price I just want to know what a regular fish store would sell it for

They only take a few big colonies a year, maybe 70 polyps a year, or less.

IME I've had luck selling small 5-10 polyp colonies locally for 4$ a polyp.

I'd break some colonies of it up and start selling via Facebook groups. And see what you can get rid of that way. At the same time send a pic of one of those smaller colonies you broke to the lfs and ask if they're interested in a supply.

The last thing you wanna do is show them your giant colony or tell them how much you have... else they are gonna low ball you.

most likely destroy it, frag it,sell 5-10 head :( sell it to fellow reefer:)

The per polyp price is how the lfs is gonna deal you... whether or not you like it.

For local sales to hobbiest, just list them for 30 bucks e and have 6-7 polyp colonies, or larger 15 polyp colonies for 60-70

And look how much my lfs sells them for

Yea they're selling them already for 5-6 per polyp. So more likely you'll get 3-4. Store credit...

Your best bet is to sell locally. At the same time building up a network for when you're ready to sell other stuff and get into serious profit from reefing.

Source: made $1000 cash since october selling stuff locally.

That's not bad idea I just don't have Facebook. I have it posted on here. And I kinda like to just let the hole thing go at once. I payed 10 bucks for the 1 head couple years a go. So not like I looking to get rich just looking for reasonable offer and thanks for your info bud

Facebook prohibits coral sales and live animals. That doesn't stop people from posting corals and stating "need to go". Pm is how corals get sold on FB.

I could be mistaken, but that seems to only be enforced on marketplace. Never had any problems straight up selling on local reefing groups... not even sure if that rule applies to groups.

Genuinely curios as to what the real answer is...

In my neck of the woods, I would say realistically probably $100-$125. I think that it is a beginner coral without a lot of demand. It is beautiful, dont get me wrong. We all had one in the beginning. You could try fragging it but I think it wouldnt take long before you saturated the local market with candy cane, and you would be stuck with a ton of frags everywhere in your reef.

$60-120. glws. Id frag and keep and sell cheap or trade for another coral. Looks like you have no prob growing it. Lol

While an impressive colony, it's a beginner coral and not really worth a ton.

In my neck of the woods that entire colony would go for around $100 to $150. I see frags with 5 heads for $10, so about $2 per polyp.
