How often are you checking your Alk and calcium??

Right now, I'm checking....
Alk - daily
C - bi-weekly
Mg - weekly
NO3 - weekly
PO4 - bi-weekly

I'm still manually dosing, but will be trying to dial in a doser soon. I have the doser, but need the containers and tubing still.

I have no auto dosing and check Alk every other day and Calcium once per week. Manually dose as needed. Check Mag every other week too.

I check the main parameters just once a week and in my big tank alkalinity once a week, and calcium magnesium randomly as they don’t change much because of use of a calcium reactor

I can’t see the point of daily testing unless you have a fondness for using test kits, or you have a problem, and even if you have a problem because of test kit inaccuracies you will always get different readings

I don’t use trident, or want to, but why you need 20 tests a day or whatever I do not know, apart from increasing the usage and sale of reagents..... but each to their own of course
