Are you asking how frequently a CO2 tank needs to be refilled? If so, it depends on tank ALK and Calcium consumption.

i'm aware. i'm curious how often others are refilling their tanks to get an idea of what others are using. recently i have had to refill my 20lb tank a lot more often. i can find no leak on the regulator but consumption is about half what it was previously. from about 6 months to about 3 months

I came across this thread wondering the same thing, I'm at 12 months with my 5lb bottle and is probably only about 1/2 to 3/4 gone. My tank is around 150 gallons total volume with over 22 acros, so alk and Ca consumption is pretty high. I thought I was only suppose to get 6-8 months out of a 5lb bottle.
