How often can you dip corals?

How often can you dip corals? I have a torch with flatworms and I've already dipped it twice and I still see some flatworms crawling around the tentacles. I am wondering how often you can dip them without stressing them to death.

I'm using revive, someone recommended Bayer insect killer and I might grab some of that.

Yes. The Bayer works much better on the flat worms. Ime.

Rinse very very very well.

So it shoud do it in one go? If not, how long do I wait in between dips?

I do the wait and see. I got rid of zoa eating nudis this way. Your looking for the egg hatching time. Zoa nudis are in the 8-14 days range. Not sure with flat worms honestly.

So I dipped , waited till I saw more(a hatch),then dipped again basically.

So if I see more the very next day I'm good to go with another dip? I'm just trying to figure out if I can dip every hour? Every day? Once a week? Maybe it depends on what you're dipping in, what concentration, and for how long?

In my specific case I'm dipping for 15 min in 4 caps of revive diluted with 1 gallon of SW. But I'll prolly go get me some Bayer today.

Will the flatworms possibly spread to other frags? I have two favias, a candy cane, two types of zoas, hammer, torch and a chalice.

No don't stress the corals or yourself that much.

Concentration does make some difference. But follow most of the advice you'll find on how to do it.

A fwiw. It took a couple months to get rid of the nudis. So patience is a thing imo.
If I'm not mistaken, those are not nearly as destructive as a zoa nudi. Those are literally a tiny vampire. If they don't target those other species it's not a concern for them imo.
