I just cut my inferno bubble tip nem in half over the weekend and the 2 halves appear to be doing well so far (fingers crossed). It was originally grown from half dollar sized 6 tentacled "baby" to 8 inches (fully expanded).
My question is how soon can I frag it again?
I read that 2 weeks is the minimum time needed to heal. I've also read that the nem is fully healed once it starts to "walk" around in the holding container.

As far as healing time, it will vary with different conditions. Obviously you want the mouth to be fully formed and some semblance of "roundness" to return to the body. With heavy feedings, this should happen quite quickly. I would wait about a month before fragging again, just to be safe.

I dont think theres a set time frame. All i'd say is that that isnt the 39.99 GBT available at every LFS. I wouldn't push it.

My rbta is huge, alot bigger than I expected when I bought it, not that its a problem but it may turn into one lol. I would rather not frag it, just because of the possible risk even though I understand its pretty low with this nem. I would prob wait until it looks like a healthy specimen that you would spend your money on with no 2nd thoughts.
