How often do rose bubble tip nems split?

Some nems some spilt a lot, some split a little, some do not split at all. Mine split a lot when the tank was young but I haven't had a split in over two years. I think tank parameters, flow, lighting etc can trigger splits. I think most splits are caused by some type of stress but that is just speculation on my part.
You said it's moving around a lot. How long has it been in the tank and how old is the tank. Also what type of lighting do you have. Lighting is more important than feeding. A nem moving means it is looking for a place that is comfortable e.g. correct lighting and flow.

It has been in the tank for 3 days. Tank is 4 months old but all parameters are great except for phosphate who is 0.0. I have 2 Red Sea 90 lights. Last night it was on the move and was hanging on for dear life because it was getting blasted by flow. I turn the flow off last night and I found him hiding under a rock.

I would think the light should be sufficient if they are turned up high enough. I use a par meter but not everyone has access to one. 4 months is young for a nem but not saying it can't be done. I have some that anchor under rocks and extend out 6 inches when lights are on so it being under a rock may be a good thing. I would just leave it be. Give it a week or two. Try not to mess with it and don't feed it untill it has decided where it wants to be. I don't feed mine at all but mention it because it's the first thing many people do when they add a nem and it can actually cause more stress because the nem has to process the food. Watch your powerheads if it starts to move again, they can get chopped up pretty bad by them if they stray into one.

I don’t think changing things around is going to help, probably best leave your tank alone and it will find an area it likes, rather than it thinks it’s work it out then you go and lower the flow etc

Idk what to keep my Red Sea 90 light at. I think I have the at 50% blue and 15% white. Do you know what they should be at? I will let it be and won’t feed it until it stops moving. I order some nem guards for my wave makers
