How often do you disturb your sand?

I’ve tried leaving it be and I’ve tried stirring it every few days. It’s only about an inch on average, but I’ve not really noticed a difference either way. I do want to find a way to keep it cleaner though, so I’m likely going to keep messing with it until I find what works best!

I use a gravel vac to do my weekly water change so I just clean the sand while I'm doing that.

Every two weeks when doing water changes, stir it up first

I heard in a reefing youtube video "If your sand is clean, don't mess with it. If your tank is doing well, don't stick your hand in it." And I totally agree. My sand is doing very well, staying clean, only a few worms popping out. I havent touched it in maybe 3 weeks?
Rocks are a different issue though

I stir my sand every few days and siphon every two weeks when doing water change

Have a tiger tail sea cucumber, a fighting conch and a blue spotted jaw fish to stir mine up daily.

Vacuum mine 100% about every 2 weeks while doing water changes. If I didn't I wouldn't see it. lol Need some really good sand sifters.
