There are time recommendations from every single RODI supplier, but quite frankly I have found that it really depends on HOW MUCH water is being filtered in total during the span of a month. If you aren't using it every day, then I don't believe using a timeframe is worthwhile unless you're finding your TDS to correspond with that same timeframe.
