How often do you scuba your gear down?

What kind of schedule do you use to scrub down all your power heads and other in tank gadgets?

What kind of schedule do you use to scrub down all your power heads and other in tank gadgets?

Lol I autocorrect to scuba in the title!

I pull out the power heads about every 3 months, or when they look like they really need it. I have replacements, so I can just swap them out and clean the dirty ones at my convenience. The return pump gets swapped out about every 6 months and replaced the same way. It's nice to be able to keep everything going without too much down time, and I have spares in case anything fails.
