Just curious to see how often everyone's bubble tip anemones move in your tank? Please respond with what type of BTA you have!

I have 5 rainbow BTAs and they move around once a week or so.

4 bta, 2 different variants. They never move.

Last time mine moved was early november because of new lights. He dont like a lot of par.

I wonder if mine move around so much due to being in an office building that is relatively air tight. Lots of people during the week but no one here on the weekends... maybe my alkalinity is swinging some. My H. Aurora anemone has never moved once.

RBTA and rock flower haven’t moved since in their place for about 6 months - my GBTA will however move almost daily

I have a Rose Bubble Tip and Rock Garden...Bubble Tip finally split two days ago...FIRST movement since I got it in August.

Just got mine yesterday and put it in a spot I thought may be suitable for it, under an overhang. Hasn’t moved at all yet, following this thread! Will update if mine starts to wander.
Don’t worry it may wonder a bit , it’s what they do lol just be ready to play musical chairs with some corals in the meantime

I have a GBTA that hasn't moved, 2 RFAs that haven't moved, and one RBTA that won't sit still. It's moved all over the tank, into the overflow twice, split, and still won't sit still. The split hasn't moved yet, though.

My BTA stayed put for almost a year, then in the midst of battling a bad case of Dinos, it moved.

I took advantage of the move and started cleaning and rearranging rock work. Since then, it's been on the move almost daily, trouncing on corals and cruising the glass. If yours keeps moving, I'd guess it's not happy with flow or can't find good rock footing.
