My fish have velvet so they are in a quarantine tank. So the only nutrients going into the tank is coral food. This means I can feed them a lot more often. How much is to much? Is feeding them once a day to much?

I would feed based on the nutrient levels in your tank - such as nitrates and phosphates etc...
I know. But there is a point where u can feed a coral to much. Is once a day to each coral direct feeding to much for the coral? I’m not worried about overloading

I would go with 2 to 3 times a week. You still have other CUC or other micro organisms in the tank, so they should still give you some phosphate and nitrate.

Start slow - corals get more from light. Short term they can even subsist on light alone. Once a week would even be OK. Can slowly ramp up feeding based on how tank react. A lot more can go wrong from overfeeding than under.

I already have been feeding twice a week. I want to feed as much as possible as I have the export ways to get nutrients out. I no longer have fish and only have coral. So would the coral be able to digest eating every other day?

What are you feeding with? Just keep the corals plump and happy. Too much and it will just pollute the tank. Too much and the colours won't pop. A lack of fish might mean that larger particles won't get broken down by mouths to poop. Any excess food rots if you don't have a substantial clean up crew.

I have inverts, filter floss, 3 liters of pond matrix, a skimmer up to 30 gallons on a medium fish load, gfo, and carbon. Not worried about polluting tank. I just want to get as much growth as possible

Look at the coral poop. Most coral foods like reef roids or pellets should be able to be completely absorbed by coral unless you feed them whole stuff that contains bones/shells and such like mysis. So depending on what you feel, how often and how much it poops will give you a good idea of if you are overfeeding

Coral poops?

I agree with what the other folks are saying above. 2-3 times a week sounds reasonable as long as you are able to keep your nutrients in check. I also went through a fallow period and fed less than that just to keep nutrients above 0 and so that the corals stayed happy/healthy.

I would feed them a couple times a week as much as possible without it causing a spike in nutrients. More so not for the good of the corals but to keep your bio filter going strong enough for when you put your fish back in.

Uhh take the gfo, carbon, and maybe the skimmer (depending on how your water is testing) offline and feed less. Once or twice a week.

yes, different colors/consistency/shape too, depending on what was fed and how much is digested.

Edit: or more like.. vomits out the waste - its the same hole
Oh well that explains why I thought I had brown jelly on my hammer then 3 minutes later it was gone

Reefroids twice a week. Can't get easier. The thing about feeding is that you get annoyed of it and ends up stopping. gotta keep it simple. here it is https://amzn.to/3aBY3oV
