I just purchased my first container of reefroids and have been feeding per the instructions on the bottle. My question is how often do people recommend feeding, and do most people target feed or broadcast?

I too just bought my first reef roids about three weeks ago. I do both, broadcast one night, then spot the night after.Love spot feeding its so interesting to feed these lil guys.

Every day my corals zooxanthellae get light which feeds the coral along with fish poo. Every Sunday night I feed my corals a mix of PhytoFeast, OysterFeast, Reef Roids, fresh hatched brine shrimp and a cube of frozen rotifers. Mix it all up and spot feed some and dump the rest in the tank.
By morning the tank is clear again.

What kind of corals? I target feed once a week and broadcast feed throughout the week. Most of the broadcast feeding is just fish food runoff. Once a week reef roids and meaty foods are fed to my corals. I have a lot of different mouth sized lps including some non photosynthetic guys that actually require feeding.

If you are new to feeding less is probably better since you don't want to end up with nutrient issues and give your corals and tank a chance to get used to the extra food.

I feed reef roids directly two or three times per week. If I get lazy I'll broadcast feed every now and then.

Just remember to start with a smaller amount to give your tank time to adjust to the added nutrients.
