How often to tanks crack?

I’m about to move into a high floor condo and I’m wanting to buy a Red Sea Reefer 200/300XL. The only thing that’s holding me back is that I am super nervous about a tank breaking. I’ve read a few stories on here and it makes me nervous.

Any horror stories about Red Sea tanks? Or are they pretty durable? I’m just looking for some reassurance so that I will pull the trigger and get back into the hobby!

There are lots and lots of Red Sea tanks out there. There are some stories of them leaking.

If you wanted to be the "safest," I would recommend a rimmed tank with thicker glass....or even an acrylic tank, since they don't really have seams and are, more or less, welded together.
