How old is a 3-inch Longnose Hawkfish

I have this guy also and will be adding a third variety of hawk soon. The falco is probably the most active fish in the tank. Constantly moving from perch to perch. Fun to watch.

I love em! If I could have an ARMY of hawkfish, blennys and gobys I would be a happy Fish Queen :p

Oh my, lol. If its the tank in your build thread that will be a slight issue. Along with any cuc not surviving the experience! Good idea to return that one... They are a handful.
THE WORST ONE!! lol

Yeah, I saw the little guy, and all logic flew out the window. I did a quick search on the google to see if he would be okay and the first thing I saw I guess made me feel okay. Big regret now, I really like my shrimp, and emerald crabs. So, hes gotta go. Feel guily though. I also really hope that the LFS will allow me to trade him for longnose hawkfish, or credit. ANYTHING!

Will either be a freckled or red spotted hawk. Local importer has both currently so Ill decide next week.
They’re beautiful - I love the falco hawks but have you seen the swallowtails or the forsteris? They’re beautiful to see in person and I’d love to grab one but both my tanks are maxed out to my knowledge (Maybe I could fit 1-2 small, low bio-load fish in)

I was trying to determine the length of my longnose hawk over lunch. I'm guessing a little over 3". They fill out vertically more as they grow longer. I've seen specimens at 4". I also don't remember how long I've had it. At least 3 years, since that's how far my pictures go on my current phone.

Anyone successfully kept 2 hawkfish together? I have a flame hawk and want a long nose if it's possible

How big is your tank?

I have a falco and a long nose hawkfish currently. They practically don't even know each other exist.
I have a flame and I want a long nose and a Falco. Hope that’s not too much for my 75 gal.

I went to the LFS yesterday to ask about taking my dragon back, and he said yes.

I thought I saw about 3/4 long noses but they were all gone! He had a Falco so I’m thinking to get him on Tuesday.
