How old is/was your oldest fish?

nothing impressive I realize when compared to some of the experience folk here, but the tank I had when I was reefing years ago was 5 years old when I had to tear it down and sell it off, I had a damsel and a clown that were 5 years old + whatever age they were when I acquired them. Hoping I can beat that this go around!

I have a 10 year old Frontosa, African cichlid. Will probably bump him up to a bigger tank this year since he is starting to get pretty big.

He really shouldn't be alive, tried to eat a pleco at one point some 4 or 5 years ago. Had the tail sticking out of his mouth, I figured the sharp spine pectoral fins would rip him apart since he couldn't swallow the whole thing, but somehow he spit it out. Wish I took a pic.

My purple tang will be 15 next January.

I had an angelfish that lived with me for a number of years and was very health and had a great personality but sadly i had to give him away.

I had a pair of Jack Dempsey Cichlids for 8 years. The female lived another year and a half. I probably bred them successfully 6 or 7 times. I had one of their babies for 6 years.

Not saltwater, but my little brother and his friend down the street won goldfish at the local fair. I forget how long my brother's lived, but hers lived to be over 20. My mom accidently killed it when she was taking care of it while they were on vacation.

Mine is my cleaner wrasse over 6 years old . . . . 7 in November
