Had a 3 year old tank that had grown up from a softy reef to a mixed reef. Just crashed in the beginning of may, so it was back to the drawing board. The 72 is now almost a month old.

120 RIP (still painful to remember what was...and will never be. Stupid Murphy's Law :) )

I was until I dug out the picture....dang it sucks. Was my own fault for not having a fail safe on the kalkwasser reactor. Live and learn I guess. I do like the open look of the new system better, and look forward to seeing it once its grown in some. Just wish it didn't have to come to what it did.

I guess I should post since I started the thread. :wink:This tank went up July 4, 2008

I have 3 tanks.
My 55 has been set up for 25 years as a reef. It was fish only before that.
I really want to change it to a 75 but I'm afraid to move everything especially the sandbed.

My 150 has been a reef for 13 years and I just changed from my 12 gal nano I had about 3 years into a 24 gal Aquapod.

I will post photos. tomorrow I have to clean it up some hehe.
I had my new tank for about 5 months now I change tanks like a bum changes drawls once every 6 months. up grading as soon as I buy a house.

14 years and counting. The 250 gallon tank/vat in our greenhouse was set up in 1995 and has not been drain as of yet.

My 240 has been up for 3-1/2 years. Everything that's in it was transferred from my 180 that was going for 8 years.

300 gal is approx. 2 years old and was an upgrade from a 125 that was ran for 2 years. The 125 was an upgrade from a 55 which was ran for a couple years as well.

I took down a 240 after about 20 years because of a move. I took down 3 60 gallon tank frag system a little before that that was 7 years old. I moved my 29 gallon at the same time. It has been set up for 12 and took it down a year later after my 300 got established and stable. I moved the corals, calm, shrimp and fish to my 300. I have fish and corals I have had for 20-23 years. BTA anemones almost as long. I sold my very first anemone from my fist tank 6 years ago or so. I still have the first clown that used to hose it that is 23 years old at least.

I don't know what I consider this, current tank was up for 5 years and then I swapped tanks (75 off center overflow for corner overflow) and had a semi-mostly tank crash last summer.
