I'm running 8x54 sunpower with 6x blue plus and 2 corals plus. 1st channel (2 blue +) comes on at 130 and goes out at 10. 2nd channel comes on from 230 pm to 9.
As for p04 I used to check but my Hanna phosphorus and phosphate checkers kept giving me different readings so I don't even bother anymore. I only get the green haze on the glass so I'm not too worried. My no3 is around 5-10 ppm (salifert). I have an vertex omega 180i that sits in my sump and might get turned on for an hour a week. I have marine pure spheres and they seem to be doing a killer job.
I never got a good gauge on this. Some of my old SPS would be super slow, and that's why we would charge higher price for those corals (see LPS corals). Millipora always seem to grow fast for me in high flow/high light, and stags were all over the place. Montipora caps were fast, but encrusters always seemed slow.
