Do anyone keep an eel in a reef? I know not generally reef safe but are them any exceptions?

Hawaiian golden dwarf eel. Expensive but generally reef safe. Love mine. He goes crazy for clams on the half shell.

I kept a Hawaiian dragon eel years ago. So eels will not eat your corals, some inverts will be on the menu, and small fish will also be in trouble. The biggest issue I had was trying to keep reef quality water parameters when they eat sooooo much. Also I was always nervous putting my arm in the tank. I probably wouldn't keep an eel in a reef again.
