How reef safe are Long Tentacled anemone's?

Been thinking about adding an anemone to my tank. 7 year old system but restarted 23 months ago after a move. I've never kept one previously though I do have several RFA's.

I don't have clowns so I don't need a nem that hosts clowns. I would prefer a sand dwelling anemone but don't want to put smaller fish like flasher wrasses at risk. Any experiences with sand dwelling anemones in mixed reef tanks?

Sand dwellars IMO are a much better choice for a mixed reef.
Look at Malu as well as LTA, they are actually smaller, 8-10" as opposed to 18" for LTA, but brighter colors usually, and stay lower.

Personally if I had either clowns or nem, I'd have to have both, it's that symbiotic relationship that draws me to either, but to each their own.

I've had LTA's and Malus over many years and never lost a fish or coral to either.

You do need a decent sand bed though, 3-4" min
