How "reef safe" are Regal Angels?

I had a baby one that died in QT. Im contemplating getting a bigger one, but after doing some more research, it might now be a good idea in a reef. Just wondering what other's opinions are?

I've witnessed them decimate firsthand zoas, chalices, symphyllia, acans, wellsos, dendros, and clams.

they are as reef safe as they choose to be take the risk and deal with the consequences lol good luck

Like most large angels, they are only SPS reef safe. And even that sometimes doesn't hold true.

I had one in a mixed reef that did great. Kept him fed and he had a lot of sponge to munch on. Then again I've heard people say that they cleared a tank of softies and LPS. Depends what your pain level is in trying one. They say that a 3"-4" is the best size to get. Mine was 4" when I got him and @6" when I sold him due to having to tear down my tank. Good Luck!!
