I have a 3 month old tank that has about 5 corals, should I add all the coral before adding more fish or add fish and coral together? Also how should I add coral into the tank?

You can before, during or after as long as tank levels/readings are favorable

Do you have any fish yet?

Tread lightly as some fish seem great today but a nightmare down the road.

Clowns are great and very hardy, can live for decades.

Other damsels can be real jerks though.

adding corals doesn’t mess with your biological filter the way adding fish does. add all the coral you want - keep an eye on your ca/mag/alk levels- your coral will be absorbing them. take more caution when adding fish - do it slowly as to not overload your biological filter. adding 5 corals at once is fine, but adding 5 fish at once will likely restart your cycle. doesn’t matter if you add fish or coral first, as long as your parameters are ready for the additions :) acclimate coral and fish via slow drip. you have the highly recommended option to dip your coral in some diluted chemical like coral revive (after dipping, be sure to rinse frag thoroughly with tank water before adding to tank) in order to prevent the addition of unwanted hitchhikers. super glue (use extra thick gel, i have killed grail torches with the runny stuff ) can be used to attach frags to rocks. be mindful of lighting and flow, try the placement out for a week before committing to it. have fun !!

acclimate coral and fish via slow drip.

Acclimating corals with the drip is unnecessary. You can if it makes you feel more confident, but I have never found it necessary myself.

Dip in whatever coral dip you prefer for however long it says on the bottle. I use ReVive and dip for 15 minutes, then directly into the tank.

As stated, I prefer to place corals in an area I want them to observe how they react before gluing them in permanently.

You can add as many corals as you like all at once. I added 17 frags at once a while back with no issues.

2 clowns, 2 blennies, and a cleaning crew that consists of hermits, emerald crabs, sea stars, snails, and two cleaner shrimp

What would be a good fragging kit? Where could I find some good how to tutorials?

Hello!

As long as tank parameters are reading good you can always add coral. and in regards to a little help in adding here is our acclimation sheet for you https://wwc-help-center.gorgias.help/en-US/how-do-i-acclimate-my-corals-40895

Hey WWC, I love the coral that I ordered a while back, One thing I noted about the acclimation guide, and currently it is not an issue for my tank, but when I was testing the par levels on the sand bed of the tank they were high (260') on the sand bed because of the light bouncing off the front glass. Have you had any issues with this in the past?

Why would you say that, Mine are personally great and have worked well with all of my fish and coral. I belive they are good pets, what would be the reason for your opinion?

I need a shield any time I put my hands in the tank. They will attack my hand like piranhas

Yah I got bit once but it did not hurt much, I have to use protection anyways while putting my hands in the tank due to my canary blenny being a venomous little diva

Started that way. Then the female started drawing blood and it wasn't so cute anymore.

Ditto!!!! I have a pair of darwins and omg, the female is a royal bi***. She draws blood

My 3+ inch staghorn damsels are just as bad but don't draw blood. The one jerk not only bites, but will act like a jack hammer and keep at it. Used to bite and run. No more. @damsels are not mean can have my 6! I'd even throw in the clown pair!

I had a pair that I could, hand fed, had the female for like 20 years
