I really wanna get some for my cuc, but it MUST be quarantined with copper, i dont wanna risk it, how do people qt them with reef2reefs qt protocol?

Why must it be copper and not the other options? Keeping snails alive in quarantine for a few months shouldn't be hard?

I wouldn't expect the snails to survive copper, copper is for treating fish

You will kill cuc with copper. They cannot take it. If you have a separate qt tank for inverts, it would be a better option. Set up a 10g tank with mature rocks and keep cuc in there for 76 days and you should be fine. No fish, only inverts and live rock, algae, etc.

You can't quarantine inverts with copper, they'll die. As said above, just keep them in a tank with no fish for 76 days, and any ich attached to them will die off harmlessly. QT protocols that involve medication are generally for fish, not for inverts, as fish diseases typically don't live very long on inverts. Ich and other cyst-forming diseases are the main exception, and waiting will kill them off.

45 days at 81F in a tank. I usually brush their shells with peroxide for a moment before they go in. Make sure there is some algae growing on the glass before hand.
