It is a 24x24x7 or about 18gal.

I want to use it as a frag tank / quarantine tank. Any corals I get go into the frag tank for 6 weeks minimum.

I have a Reefbreeders Photon 24 that I will be running over the top of it.
Jebao WP-25 pump
I'll put about 10lbs of Pukani rock, but no sand as it will blow everywhere and more work.

How exactly should I plan to run this tank? I'd like it as hands off as possible.
--- Any hermits or snails?
--- A single fish to feed the corals?

What do you guys suggest?

Single fish, I'd go with a clown goby. Hermits yes, snails as well. Go with astrea snails, they don't fall on there back every ten seconds.

Are Clown Goby's pretty good at being fed sparingly? I'd like to not have to feed every day, but every other day.

Also no issue of jumping right? As its so shallow and I'd like to have it without a screen if possible.

I have hermits , snails, and a melenarus wrasse for pest patrol in mine. I feed some flake food daily.

I keep a pile of sand in one corner for it to sleep in.
