how should I treat my clownfish?

I have two clownfish that have white stringy poop. I started to use metroplex + focus a few weeks ago. They ate the food but the problem still persists. therefore, it must be worms and not parasites? So, I just started to feed my clownfish general cure + focus.

Now, over the weekend, my male clown started to exhibit cloudy eyes, a red sore near it gills on the white stripe(underside), and some gray patches around its body. I thought this was aggression from the female as they are still going through the pairing process. However, I noticed the same gray patches on the female. Maybe the male is nipping back? I am unsure.

I came to the conclusion that since both eyes on my male clown are cloudy, this must be signs of a bacterial/fungal infection and not injury.

My question is what and how should I medicate these two types of sicknesses (worms and bacterial/fungal infection)?

I decided to setup a 10g hospital tank since symptoms are showing worse and will transfer them over tomorrow but I'm stuck on how to medicate. This is my first time setting up a hospital tank and medicating fish.

Medications that I will have tomorrow (still coming in the mail):
General Cure
Seachem Kanaplex
Seachem Metroplex
Furan-2

I was thinking General Cure and Furan-2. Is it okay to mix these? What should be my daily regiment in terms of dosing and water changes for this combo?

Or should I target the infections with the Metroplex/Furan-2/Kanaplex combo and once that clears up, go after the worms?

Clownfish are still eating well and acting normal.

This ^^^ and consider not dosing on the same day. Dose the General Cure. And then the next day start with the Furan-2 and Kanaplex if you want to as the GC already has Metro.

Is Kanaplex really necessary on top of the GC + Furan-2? I really don't want to stress them out too much since I read that piling medication can do that.

If I have enough aeration, then adding more medication isn't a problem? Is it because medication reduces the oxygen in the water and because of this, it causes stress? So, if I have enough aeration, I can add as much medication as I want (assuming I can mix the types safely)?


So a good schedule would be:
DAY1: GC
DAY2: Furan-2
DAY3: 25 % Water Change

And, repeat this cycle for 2 weeks?

With the GC you need to have a at least a second dose 5-7 days after to catch any eggs laid by the parasites.

Kanaplex is a very mild wide spectrum antibiotic. When mixed into the metro + Furan2 + kanaplex, together they cover a very wide range of bacterial infections.

I understand that dosing GC after 5-7 days after is for flukes. Should I be following the normal 48-hr regiment for intestinal worms?

How effective is GC at treating intestinal worms with out medicated food?

I've been reading up on this forum and I think I should be feeding medicated food as well?

I hope this isn't Uronema but I think this is a bacterial infection for sure.
