How smart is our fishes and corals?

And even our inverts.

That is actually a question and not a statement.

The reason I ask this is because everytime I come to feed, which is normally in the same timing of the day, they know! They come and play in the water column, ready to feed.

This makes me wonder too if I change the schedule of my lighting, will all the tank inhabitants aware of this too?

They generally do better with a “routine” schedule as the normal rotation of the sun is what they would have if they were still living in the wild.

Second that it turns into routine. My fish expect me to feed them when I walk by the tank, very dog like as the tangs & anthias follow me across the tank or will swim up near the spot where I am.
