I have a 56l tank.
Tank was setup on 14th of July, finished it's cycle on the 7th of August.
I added the 1st livestock on Saturday, 10th of August. Which is a yellow clown goby.

Until Saturday I've had the lights off, so far, no algae or ugly stage. So I've not bothered with a CUC.

I've been feeding the little guy brine shrimp and today I started with TBO Chroma Boost as well.
Because the goby seems a little pale, I've been slightly overfeeding to make sure he's eating properly.
Thankfully most of it is getting caught up in the sponge I have on the filter intake. However there are a few pellets dotted around on the rock work and sand.

Is it too early to add a very small CUC?
Like 1 or 2 red hermit crabs to go after the left over pellets, or am I asking for disaster?

As long as there is food available for what ever is being added you are fine. Just take it slow.

I would add a few hermit crabs to eat the pellets on the rocks. And some nass snails for the sand.

You can always get a recombination from Reefcleaners.org as well. Just fill out the form and notify them of your current livestock. They get back to you QUICKLY!
