Hi guys

i was wondering how you keep the PH stable in your nano tanks?

any tips ?

BTW my tank is not fully set up YET :)

I really don’t worry about PH on my tanks, rarely test it or try to adjust for high or low values.

There's no such thing as a stable pH in reef tanks. It will fluctuate anywhere from 7.9-8.3 and that's fine.

this is all true. however some believe that running a refugium with a reverse photo period (opposite the display tank's lighting cycle) will help to further stabilize the tanks pH due to photosynthesis occurring at all times. hope you can use this information!

I wouldn't chase a number for pH. Opening a window or turning on a fan in the room can affect the pH reading. As long as it is within an acceptable range you'll be good.
