I recently added a pH probe to my tank and when I was looking at the data for the past 4 days (added it 4 days ago) I noticed that my swings seem pretty large so I was curious of those monitoring their pH how stable is it?

I do run a reverse daylight refugium and have read a few different methods on old threads for people trying to "fix" this.

Fwiw, I am just in the monitoring phase and don't plan on changing anything until I have a couple weeks worth of data.

If I take the max - min reading I have a max swing of .55 on my pH.

Tank has been setup just over a year.
Could you try recalibrating the probe and post results? Its very unlikely the ph would be that low. Btw yes its fine,i run an airline out my window plus dose alk in the morning and afternoon hours, my swing is still -+.3

I just re-calibrated my probe (3 points) and my pH is reading at 7.8. Looks like I am definitely on the low end of the acceptable reef tank range. I will check it again this weekend and see how the swings look, as well as how the calibration is holding.
