found this little guy swimming around my tank. He was easy to pull out and I was able to grab some pics. It's the size of a baby brine shrimp and kind of looks like a BBS, only thing is... I've NEVER added/fed BBS to this tank and there hasn't been anything added to it in months.
Question is... is there anything else it could be? if not, how the heck could it have gotten in there?

Just an amphipod isn't it?
I've had lots of amphipods but none that looked (and acted) like this. It was swimming in the water column against the current. and didn't run when I tried to catch it. Then again, I am not a marine biologist, so it is absolutely possible that it's just some weird one I've never seen before.

By chance ...
you aren’t in Canada or breed blue velvet nudi for eating red flatworms ?
Nope, sorry... I'm in Connecticut and only have Berghia nudibranch.

This place has them ins tock and ships all across Canada:

I wouldn't mind if it's a bristleworm, or even a nudi. but those curly appendages make me think parasite. Luckly I follow the 'when in doubt - take it out' rule.
