Looking at buying a custom aquariums tank. 72x30x24 220ish gallons. The default thickness is 1/2 inch. Is this thick enough for a braced tank? There are options for 5/8 and 3/4 which obviously add considerable price to the tank.

I'd go 3/4" thick, all the way on a tank that big.

Go with Starfire glass on the front and both sides.
