How to acclimate a Pistol Shrimp?

I definitely want to get a Pistol Shrimp for my goby once I get the goby, but my LFS does not import Pistol Shrimp, neither the Tiger nor the Randall’s. I’ll have to get the shrimp online, goby can be bought at the LFS.

I would like to know how to acclimate Pistol Shrimp, whether they’re sensitive and need to be acclimated very carefully. Will a 15-20 minute float be enough?

I have never had any problems with acclimate pistol shrimps. if it is a long ship (more than 24 hours) sometimes it is better just to let the bag be in the water for 20 minutes - as you suggest - and after that just put it in - this compared with slow adapting the shrimp to the water.

But do not let the water from the bag mix with your DT water.
