I just got some Zoas, how do you guys acclimate your corals?

I usually let the bag or cup float for around 20 minutes, then slowly use a Turkey baster to put tank water into the bag. Wait about 10 minutes in between each one and I do it for 3-5 times. Then dip coral for 13 minutes, shake around and then rinse with a cup of tank water.

Have done this tons of times, always works for me.

Float the bag/container for 15-20 minutes. Dip in FWE, rinse in a cup of tank water and drop em in. ( qt tank)

I usually do a quick dip, baste them, and drop them right in. If they’re being shipped I’d probably float them for a little bit first.

I just temp. acclimate for 20 minutes, then gently place it in the tank. If you want to dip after you acclimate, that's up to you. I personally don't dip.

Float, dip, rinse, put in tank. There is no need to drip acclimate or slowly add tank water to the bag, your corals will adjust and open sooner if you just put them straight into the tank.

I’m getting a large Zoa pack today, should I not acclimate that way and just dip and put them in?

If you have a system that works for you, there won't be any harm in continuing. Lots of ways to do things. One time I picked up some live sale stuff from Jason Fox. While we were chatting I asked him how he would acclimate them. He noted he didn't drip acclimate any of his coral. Just drop them in. That being said, I pest dipped them and then just dropped them in. Worked out well for me and thats how I've been doing it with no issues.

I just drop them in. They grow like beautiful weeds although different variations prefer much stronger light then others.

I add Coral RX to the water they came in and float for 15 minutes (dip and temp acclimate at the same time). Then I just rinse with tank water and put them in.
