Is there a way to diffuse O2 into reef tank without aggravating micro bubbles? Thank you so much for the help!!

surface agitation is the primary way gas exchange occurs in our systems which is why you don't see air stones in marine systems.

you angle your powerheads so that there is more breaking at the surface. The gas exchange increase 02 in the tank and aids in increasing ph too.

That and the tremendous amount of salt creep lol.

I run a skimmer and 2 filters in my Fluval Evo, still need the airstone though so bubble trap would be ideal

If possible having a line from outside feeding the skimmer helps loads.
what you're referring to is a strategy to mitigate accumulation of co2 which also boosts pH. OP appears to be trying to improve aeration. good advice just for a different use :)

tbh I have no salt creep issue with the display. my sump has very little but at the end of the day you're right, its a tough balance to have strong flow and no creepin' :)

Surface agitation is how I do it, I do notice a moderate amount of salt creep definitely more than normal. You could try putting a air stone in the sump and have a foam filter in the last baffle or right before it to catch the bubbles. That’s how the sump in Red Sea reefers are designed.
