Now that my daughter is getting bigger, I need to find a way to anchor my stand to the wall that way she doesn't topple it over. Here are some pics if anyone has any ideas. I really can't push it closer to the wall because of the light bracket at the top. The table is metal and the top is slate tile.

an alternative may be to put something around the tank stand like a sturdy fire guard so she can't reach the tank or stand, that will keep little fingers off the glass and stop things being dropped into the tank too.

So the problem with that one is it would have to screw into the stand and I don't think I can do that with the table. I need something that can wrap around the bars in the table and then anchor to the wall.

Don't think you would. I think the piece that screws into the furniture (stand in this case) is just so the loop has something to attach to. For your stand, the loop would just go around one of the metal bars.

If you screw into the stud with a bracket that can support and eye bolt and then use the heavy industrial zip ties that are used for commercial HVAC duct or electrical to go around the frame of the stand and then through the eye bolt it should hold. An alternative to Zip ties would be heavy wire.

maybe a 2by4 placed horizontally into the studs in the wall. that would set it off the wall 1 1/2 inch then strap or screw whatever into the 2by4 ?

Ah, didn't think of doing it that way!

This might work too! Thanks for the ideas!
