How to avoid getting spirorbid worms again

I had a previous bad infection of spirorbid worms. I fed my clownfish and tank mates live food, such as LRS, brine shrimp, and mysis. Do I just need to make sure I rinse with fresh water?

You can rise them out with RODI before feeding to your display. Do you run a skimmer after you feed your corals and fish?

I do not have a skimmer. Would this help to prevent an outbreak of them after rising them?

Mine just eventually died back on their own, and I don’t rinse my food.

It will help. You can just try feeding less and see how that works out. Good luck!

Whenever I scraped them off of the walls, less and less of them grew back each time. Now, new ones just don’t grow on the wall. I hope this helps.

I find they naturally just die back to minimal or even disappear completely as well in each tank i have ran, as they become outcompeted for food by other lifeforms as time goes on

I just hate when they leave their home behind. It's impossible to get rid of it on rock .
