How to AWC with a gravity fed ato?

My ato is gravity fed and i wanted to know how i would be able to program the auto water change to not have it tripped during one? Thank you!

Most awc adds water as it pulls out so ato isn't really effected this would be the same if it was gravity or electronic controlled. If your nervous I'd put salt water on your ato (only for this experiment) and then manually turn on the awc and watch what happens. After you can watch the process you can judge first hand if the awc will effect the ato. It really shouldn't but there's nothing like seeing it happen to put your mind at ease.
